Quarantunes for Kids
Hello friends,
I’ve been thinking about all of you every day. I hope you’re safe and healthy, with food in your cupboards and the support of those around you.
Things have been a bit challenging around here with a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old home with us 24/7, and I completely acknowledge that we are in a very good-case scenario. It's a confusing time for kids, and we're all doing our best to answer their questions and maintain some sense of normalcy (even though we're faking it).
For those of you with kids, I’ve compiled a new Spotify playlist with some of our favourite family music. It’s called “Quarantunes for Kids.” It’s easy-listening music that kids like and parents hopefully can enjoy too. I hope it will be a soundtrack that your family can use for some comfort and normalcy during these strange times.
My hope for you this weekend, if you are able to stay home, is to find some rest, peace, and a little bit of sunshine.
To our friends and neighbours on the front lines, I can’t thank you enough. I am happy to stay home to give you a fighting chance at doing your job. Thank you for your bravery!
Until we meet again,
Darrelle
