Sesame Street Kid Forever

When a song has been part of many childhoods, it carries a special kind of magic, doesn't it? One of my favourite songs from my favourite childhood show is I Don't Want to Live on the Moon from Sesame Street. Written by Jeff Moss and made famous by Ernie, it's a whistful and sweet tune with a "there's no place like home" kind of message.

Producing this song and recording all the parts myself allowed me to chip away at it over several months until it finally felt "ready." I think it's a perfect tune for dreamy mid-summer. days and evenings.
