It's been a whole week since Primary came into the world last Friday, and I could not be more grateful.
When I started writing this album three years ago, I was in the depths of a mysterious eye condition that was causing relentless pain. It's bizarre to think that a children's album with themes of creativity, hope, and connection came from such a dark time. When I started writing these songs, I didn't think I would ever have the opportunity to record them. I wasn't functioning well enough to make professional commitments. That is why I feel such a strong sense of gratitude that we are here, at this point.
I've carried these songs close to my heart, and I am honoured that they have been welcomed into your homes and your family routines.
